On Wednesday night I was lucky enough to get to see a band I have been a huge fan of for years, Iron Maiden! The excitement leading up to this even was tremendous. Iron Maiden has been a huge part of my life, and their many hits bring back plenty of fond memories from my wilder days as a newly-legal youth. CSBM (Christian Sports and Business Ministry) is a non-denominational Christian ministry that aims to bring together a broad-base of evangelical Christians as well as non-Christians who are interested in Sport and Business.
They host various events where they get sports personalities to share their testimonies over a breakfast. These events are open to all and are a great form of networking and fellowship.
CSBM approached me as they wanted to create a web presence to increase their online visibility, as well as provide guests with a means to register for events and purchase tickets. I created a website for them which allows guests to easily register for events, and for newcomers to understand a bit more about what CSBM is and what they offer.
The site is very clean looking, and with the focus being on the information and the events themselves. With their new site CSBM is now able to update their contact database and have a solid platform from which to reach more people and inform them of the latest news and events.
With the New Year well underway and your resolutions (hopefully) still going strong, now is the perfect time to look at your brand’s online strategy for 2016.

Over the weekend I was lucky enough to visit the Maker Faire, held at The Lookout. It was really an eye opening experience to see what people are coming up with in their bedrooms and garages. 3D printing seemed to be among the most popular exhibits. I know it’s been around for a while, but its still amazing to think that we can now print ‘things’! Another project that really stood out to me was a telescope, built using 3D printed components and controlled via an Arduino board. Amazing! [Read more…]
