CATHCA is the Roman Catholic network of Health Care Institutions and Health Care Providers, which exist in all nine Provinces of South Africa, Botswana and Swaziland . We operate in clinics, hospitals, old age homes, hospices, orphanages, home based care programmes and many Diocesan and parish projects combating HIV/AIDS.
CATHCA approached me to design a simple website, that could be easily updated and was able to be viewed easily across varying connection speeds. The solution to this was a simple WordPress site, that loads quickly and is compact.
They had been using a do it yourself web solution, and had found that they could not achieve their vision of updating the site to be exactly how they wanted it due to the limitation of the system. They were struggling to get the site to look and function how they envisioned. The new site addressed this by featuring a custom theme, as well as more advanced editing functionality offered by the CMS.
The new and updated site, although simple by design, allows prospective members to submit membership applications to CATHCA, as well as view all the latest news updates and keep abreast of the latest information.
